How to care for your pieces

Our pieces are designed to accompany you every day, and like everything that lives with you, they will transform over time. Use, friction, and the passage of time leave traces that are part of their history and their beauty.

If you want your jewelry to stay in the best possible condition for longer, we recommend storing it separately to avoid scratches and in an airtight container to protect it from oxidation.

925 Silver

Sterling silver, when exposed to oxygen, tends to darken over time . This process is natural and can be accelerated by factors such as your skin's pH.

When not wearing your piece, store it in an airtight container .
If it rusts, you can easily clean it by wiping it with the special cloth included in every order. You can also use the following homemade method:

  1. Line a bowl with aluminum foil.
  2. Add baking soda, the piece and hot water.
  3. Close it by forming a small packet with the aluminum foil and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  4. Then, rinse, scrub with a soft brush and neutral soap, and dry well.
  5. If any rust remains, repeat the process as many times as necessary.
Gold plated

Gold plating consists of a layer of 24k gold over the piece. Over time, this layer may fade with use.

To extend its lifespan, avoid contact with water, creams, perfumes, sweat, or chemicals . Always store it in a dry, protected place.

If you notice that the plating has worn off, you can bring the piece to our maintenance service to have it replated and restore its original shine.

GLASS

Borosilicate glass is a very strong, but not unbreakable, material.
Try to avoid bumps or falls and store the pieces separately to protect them when not in use.

Gems and stones

Gemstones add color and uniqueness to each piece of jewelry, but they also require special care.

  • Avoid exposing them to shocks, sudden changes in temperature, or chemical products (perfumes, cleaners, creams).
  • Always store them separately from other parts to prevent scratches.
18K YELLOW GOLD

18-karat yellow gold is a noble and durable metal that rarely oxidizes or loses its color over time. However, to maintain its original shine for longer, we recommend:

  • Avoid contact with harsh chemicals such as perfumes, creams, or cleaners.
  • Store the piece separately to avoid scratches.
  • Clean occasionally with a soft cloth and, if desired, with a fine-bristled brush and neutral soap to remove any remaining dirt.

Yellow gold requires no special care beyond these simple habits and retains its color naturally.

18K WHITE GOLD

18-karat white gold is an alloy that, in its most common finish, is usually rhodium-plated . This coating gives it a brighter tone and a whiter surface that gold alone does not have.

With wear, rhodium may wear off, revealing a slightly warmer or yellowish hue of the underlying gold. This is completely normal.

To care for your white gold pieces:

  • Avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics, chlorine, or cleaning products.
  • Store the jewelry in a dry, separate place.
  • Clean it with a soft cloth or with neutral soap and warm water, drying it well afterwards.

If over time you notice that the piece has lost its characteristic intense shine, you can bring it to our maintenance service to re -rhodium it and restore its original appearance.
